The dental office street in Mexico City

The office was a crammed, poorly air-conditioned building that was seemingly built as an afterthought between two residential buildings. The buildings were a mixture of brick and adobe, once colorful but now desaturated from years of sunlight. The sign above the office was faded but legible, “consultorio dental”. Their waiting room had three chairs, and a frosted glass sliding door that separated the waiting room from the two dentist chairs and equipment. I went in and introduced myself.
